Introduction
BCC Iccrea Banca Group is Italy's leading cooperative banking network, with 111 Cooperative Credit Banks and approximately 22,000 employees spread across the country. In such a complex environment, training management is a strategic lever for ensuring operational consistency, regulatory compliance, and effective adoption of digital tools.
Challenges
BCC Iccrea Banca faced a dual challenge. On one hand, the need to manage regulatory and compliance training in a structured way, ensuring timely updates, uniform quality standards, and full content accessibility in line with European regulations.
On the other, on the commercial and cultural front, the need to improve employees' understanding of products (particularly Relax Banking, the Group's home and mobile banking platform) and their ability to communicate their value to customers. In a context where products constantly evolve with updates and new features, the challenge was to keep employees aligned at all times, quickly and continuously absorbing new developments.
Why BCC Iccrea chose Syllog
Syllog was chosen for its ability to combine artificial intelligence, execution speed, and content quality in a single solution. Thanks to its AI-first approach, the solution enables rapid analysis and synthesis of internal documentation, transforming it into personalized, multimedia e-learning courses compliant with WCAG 2.1 AA standards — all with significantly reduced time-to-value compared to traditional models.
This is complemented by the ability to integrate gamification and micro-learning logic, essential for increasing engagement and fostering continuous learning. Distributing content directly on the Syllog platform enables speed and operational simplicity, both during setup and in daily use. Training paths can be activated, updated, and consumed immediately, reducing complexity and making the entire system more agile and effective.
Results
The collaboration gave rise to a training ecosystem structured on two levels. The first was the continuous production of e-learning content on compliance and regulation, developed, validated, and distributed in less than two weeks, with full compliance with accessibility standards and integration into existing LMS systems. The second was the launch of a gamified Learning Challenge to support the adoption of Relax Banking — a staged micro-learning path with short content, interactive mini-games, scoring systems, and real-time leaderboards. A model designed to generate consistent engagement and turn learning into a habit.
The results are tangible: reduced production times, widespread distribution across the entire network, and measurable engagement levels. Training thus becomes an active change management tool, capable of supporting business objectives and strengthening corporate culture.
This project demonstrates how artificial intelligence can transform training into a strategic lever, making it faster, more effective, and truly people-centered.
